1. The Service
Word Presto is a content workflow platform. It helps plan, brief, draft, review, improve and prepare content for search, readers and CMS handoff, with human review and approval at every stage. wordpresto.com is the marketing site and early-access waitlist; app.wordpresto.com is the application where projects, Workers, the Canvas and publishing handoff live.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information when applying to the waitlist or creating an App account, and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be legally able to enter into a contract, and if you are acting for an organisation, authorised to do so.
3. The waitlist and early access
Submitting a waitlist application does not guarantee access, or a particular access date. We may prioritise applications at our discretion.
4. Subscriptions, credits and billing
Paid plans and credit packs are billed through Stripe. Prices, applicable taxes and renewal terms are shown at the point of purchase. You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise. Refunds are provided at our discretion, except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
Use of the Service is subject to our Fair Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. We may suspend or terminate access for use that breaches it.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the content, source material and project data you create or import into the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a licence to host, process, transmit and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service, including sending it to the AI model providers and connected integrations needed to generate drafts, suggestions and publishing output. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to any content or source material you upload.
7. AI-generated output
Drafts, suggestions, reviews and other Worker output are generated with the assistance of AI and are a starting point for your judgement, not a guarantee of accuracy, completeness, search performance or ranking outcomes. The Service is built around human review: content moves to approved status only when you approve it, and edits after approval return content to draft/review before it can be published or handed off.
8. Publishing and destination integrations
Where you connect a destination such as Astro (via GitHub), Sanity or WordPress, you are authorising the Service to prepare and, where you take the explicit publish action, write content to that destination on your instruction. We are not responsible for changes made to your destination systems as a result of actions you take or approve.
9. Third-party integrations
Integrations such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools and DataForSEO are provided by third parties and are subject to their own terms and availability. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability or performance of third-party services.
10. Intellectual property
The Word Presto platform, software, branding and Worker system remain our property or that of our licensors. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Service; they do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, the Fair Use Policy, or if fees due are not paid. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we handle any retained data as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content it helps produce will achieve any particular search ranking, traffic or business outcome.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from these terms or the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory local consumer protection law gives you rights to bring a claim elsewhere.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service changes. We will update the effective date above, and where a change is material we will make that clear on this page.
