A WordPress Theme is a way to apply changes to the design of your WordPress weblog.  It consists of a collection of related template files which combine to produce a graphical interface which is consistant across all the pages of the blog.

WordPress comes with two themes installed as standard.  New themes can be added via the Appearance section whilst logged in via Admin.  They can also be purchased from suppliers such as VivaThemes, iThemes and StudioPress.
